It's funny sometimes how a small request can turn into a teachable moment. So much so that not only was I able to help someone else learn, but I had that ah-ha! moment where I realized, something so simple to me, may not seem that way to others. The request: To freeze the top row of a Google Sheet that the individual had editing rights to. I was a tad perplexed. I work with this person a few times a year in Google Sheets and thought for sure that this was something they would already know. So, I asked. Turns out that no, the person didn't know how to freeze the top row of their tab that they're working in. So I threw together a short screencasting tutorial so in the future, they would know how to freeze them, without waiting 12 hours for me to do so. (The email came in after work hours.)
